He was predeceased by: his brother David Clark. He is survived by: his parents, Lawrence P. Schaaf and Mary Lou Schaaf (Vellieux) of Faribault; his children, Jessica Schaaf of Rochester, MN and Justin Berndt of Waterville, MN; and his sister Jolyene Schaaf (Janice Clark).
