He was predeceased by: his parents, James Katra and Catherine Katra (Kelly); his wife Sandra Wobbrock; and his siblings, Irene Schweisthal, Shirley Naughton, Theresa Terri White and James Katra.
He is survived by: his daughter Penny (Linda Thorpe); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Gonzalez and Bennett Gonzalez, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Boldt Funeral Home (300 Prairie Ave SW, Faribault, MN 55021).
