With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leslie A. Melchert of Faribault, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Melchert and Mabel Melchert (Schwartz); his wife Janet Bultman; and his brother-in-law Charles McCullough. He is survived by: his children, Curtis Melchert (Bri) and Sara Wead (Juston); his grandchildren, Ben, Callie, Cole Melchert, Lyla and Hartley Wead; his siblings, Jennifer McCullough, Michael Melchert (Shawn) and Lynette Forcelle (Scott); his nieces and nephews, Rhonda, Renae, Robin, Rachel, Nick, Jason, Brad, Ashley and Daniel; and the mother of his children Janice Billeb.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - North Morristown (10500 215th St W, Morristown, MN 55052).
