He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred L. Johnson and Selma J. Johnson (Larson); his wife Jeanne Jurgenson; his sisters, Myrtress Anderson (Eugene), Lillian Bleyhl (Emerson) and Arla Matthies (Merlyn); and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Johnson and Isabell Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Thorp (Tim) of New Prague, Stevan Johnson (Theresa) of Kenyon, David Johnson (Peggy) of Faribault, Jeffrey Johnson (Judith) of Kenyon and Jim Johnson (Kimberly) of Colorado Springs, CO; and his brother Robert Johnson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Ecumen Hospice.
