He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Mensing; his daughters, Lynnette Bohner (Michael) of Morristown, Wendy Velzke of Morristown and Stephanie Karnik (Adam) of St. Joseph, Michigan; his grandchildren, Joshua, Mikayla Bohner, Erick Velzke (Kari), Trevor, Alayna Wangen, Grace and Noah Karnik; his great grandchildren, Liam, Blake and Hayleigh; his siblings, Geraline Kelm (Velzke) and David Velzke (Dianne); and his siblings-in-law, Arvid Mensing (Pat) and Sharlene Mensing. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (404 W Franklin St, Morristown, MN 55052).
