With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mathew Paul Simon of Faribault, Minnesota, who passed away on August 10, 2021 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Curtis Simon; and his brother Jim Simon. He is survived by: his mother Florence Simon (Walch); his children, Sami, Maddie, Samantha Novak (Darrin), Alexander Simon (Diana) and Madalyn Silva (Andy); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Lillian, Ella, Noah, Alexander Jr., Kingston and Kai; his siblings, Anne Anton, Joseph Simon, Kurt Simon (Joan), Gail Kian (Aziz) and Ben Simon (Brenda); and his former wife Wendy Seesz. He is also survived by other loving extended family and friends.

Matt would call time when my brother, Jeff, was struggling to throw strikes and share something funny to try and get Jeff to relax. He was so very kind to my family! Truly one of a kind, full of life and incredibly authentic. He left me with many positive memories.”
