He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Holmgren and Arlene Holmgren (Murphy); his wife Myrna Wade; his daughter Susan Vanswol; and his brother-in-law Dave Devoy.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Janet Miller; his sons, Steven Holmgren (Sherry) and David Holmgren (Kim); and his siblings, Mary (Pam), Steve (Bev), Jon, Cindy, Joan and Chuck (Liz). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home (1725 Lyndale Ave N, Faribault, MN 55021). A memorial service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
