Patty Olson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patty Olson (Faribault, Minnesota), born in Osage, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Kos and Dorothy Kos (Prusha); her husband Duane Olson; her siblings, Delano and Alice Marie; and her siblings-in-law, William Hoover, Bob Derrickson, Paul Toft and Shirlee Kos.

She is survived by: her son David Olson (Kathryn) of Minneapolis, MN; her grandsons, Edward and Samuel; her daughter Karen Burkhartzmeyer (John) of Fitchburg, WI; her granddaughters, Elise, Megan and Bonnie Wittwer (Todd) of Fresno, CA; her great grandchildren, Jacob and Kyle; her siblings, Daryl Kos (Donna) of New Cambria, MO, Gale Kos of Claremont, MN, Gladys Rassman (Gordon) of Owatonna, MN, Gary Kos (Judith) of Rochester, MN, Judy Derrickson of Monroe, WI and Betty Hoover of Dundas, MN; her close friend Harry Chappuis of Faribault, MN; and her mothers-in-law, Marian Olson Utpadel of Owatonna, MN, Shirley Toft of Austin, MN, Jeanne Simonson (Vernon) of Clarks Grove, MN and Sonya Peterson (Gary) of Ellendale, MN. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

The family prefers that memorials be directed to First English Lutheran Church.
