He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Boevers, and Emma Boevers, Sr. (Floren); his son-in-law Donald Baalson; his great great grandchild Brookly Monson; and his siblings, Viola Wokmunskie, Eleanor Boevers, Thelma Mueller, Frieda Dahms, Frederick Boevers, Jr. and Raymond Boevers.

He is survived by: his children, Ramona Baalson of Faribault, Rose Stenbakken (Michael) of Nerstrand, Rueben Boevers, Jr. (Connie) of Lakeville and John Boevers of Nerstrand. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many great great grandchildren.
