She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stephen Steele and Bernice Steele (Harriman); her husband Jim Akemann of Faribault, MN; her sister Nina Steele (Vince Stefanski) of Des Moines, IA; her children, Jamie Akemann (Katie) of Ada, MI, Jesse Akemann (Stacy) of Faribault, MN and Jacy Morgan (Andy) of Grand Rapids, MN; her grandchildren, Gabe Akemann (Amber), Grant Akemann (Katie), Ellery Bonde (Egan), Will Akemann (Alice), Reilly Akemann, Jada Morgan and Ethan Morgan; and her great grandchild Lenore Bonde. She was also cherished by other relatives, many friends and co-workers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home (1725 Lyndale Ave N, Faribault, MN 55021). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
