The passing of Viola (K) Kelsey of Faribault, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward F. Vyskocil and Agnes Vyskocil (Janouch); her husband Wally; and her siblings, Hank, Alvin, George, Edward, Raymond, Donald, John Vyskocil, Irene Covey, Elsie Boldt and Mildred Hallett.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Kelsey (Jenny) of Mahtomedi, MN, Steve Kelsey (Kelly), Walter Kelsey Jr. of St. Paul, MN, Loretta Hamm (David) of Warba, MN, Julia Athey (Donnie) of South St, Patrick Kelsey (Robyn) of Blaine, MN, Joann Kelsey of Faribault and Ronald Kelsey of Shakopee, MN; and her sister Mary Lou Schmitz of Faribault. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Divine Mercy Catholic Church (139 Mercy Dr, Faribault, MN 55021). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Lawrence Cemetery (2830 2nd Ave NW, Faribault, MN 55021).
