He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Arendt and Agnes Arendt (Buchholz); his siblings, Virgil Arendt and Mary Ellen Arendt; his parents-in-law, Fred and Ingeborg Kjos-Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Clayton, Warren, Wally, Kenny, Donnie Johnson, Elaine, Joan and Stella Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Marcy Arendt; his sons, Scott Arendt (Janeene) and Mark Arendt (Amy); his grandchildren, Lindsay Arendt, Zach Arendt (Katelyn Gabler), Kevin Flanagan and Michael Flanagan; his great grandchild Brielle Arendt; his nephews, Derek Johnson (Liselle) and Dale Johnson (Nancy); his niece Denise Haupert (Bryce); and his siblings-in-law, Dennis Johnson (Diane) and Lila Johnson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Boldt Funeral Home (300 Prairie Ave SW, Faribault, MN 55021). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Peace Lutheran Church, the Faribault Moose Lodge or Spring Garden Lutheran Church.
