He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harley Dietz and Gertrude Dietz; his wife Mary Anne Lynch Dietz; his daughters, Lou Ann (Gary Weflen), Nancy Dietz (Stephen Harris) and Diane (Vince Mako); his grandchildren, Andrew Weflen of Silver Bay, Minn., Kate Devera (Jarod) of Farmington, Minn., Ellen Harris of Altoona, Iowa, John Weflen (Dan Schultz) of Minneapolis, Will Mako (Karlee) of Dillon, Colo., Joseph Weflen of Tower, Minn. and Samuel Harris (Brittany) of Pleasant Hill; his great grandchildren, Savannah and Alexander Devera; his siblings, Dean of Waverly and Dorothy Smith (Keith); his nephew Kent Smith; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Dietz.
