She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Friedlund and Lorraine Friedlund; her son Todd Groves; her grandson Jacob Groves; and her sister Jill Klaren.

She is survived by: her husband Bill Canniff; her children, Jim Groves (Brenda) and Jennifer Wood (Tim); her grandchildren, Bryce Groves, Josh, Lexie Groves, Kiersten and Noelle Wood; and her sister Janis Friedlund (Geoff Jelinek).

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Alzheimer's Association.
