She was predeceased by : her husband Paul. She is survived by : her children, Amy Dungca (Jay) and Andrew Ornat (Sarah); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Owen Dungca, Benjamin, Norah and Elsie Ornat; her brothers, Steve (Nancy) and Dan Nielsen (Janice); and her pets, Hydro and Chewie.
