He was predeceased by: his parents, Loretta Shaddrick (Starr) and Leo "Butch" Shaddrick; his sister Angela Dahlen; and his father-in-law Martin Jancik. He is survived by: his wife Sheri; his sons, TJ and Andrew Starr (Naomi); his brother Joe Starr (Lori); and his grandchildren, Karter Starr and Ka Aaliyah Schaaf-White.
