She was predeceased by: her parents, William Swanson and Pearl Swanson (Johnston); her former husband Robert Holmgren; her husband George Koch of Puposky; her stepfather Alfred Tureson; her brother Melford Myles Swanson; her grandson Peter Holmgren; and her siblings-in-law, Lois Moore (Holmgren) and Dennis Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Brad Holmgren (Lucy) of Bayard, NM, Lori Jo Holmgren, Rob Holmgren (Lori Jean) of Plymouth, MN and Tricia Holmgren of Bemidji, MN; her grandchildren, Jonathan Holmgren of San Luis, CO, Joshua Williams (Christilyn) of St Paul, MN, Jack Holmgren (Paige) of Knoxville, Will Holmgren (Maddie) of Austin, TX, Michaela Holmgren of Los Angeles, CA and Van Holmgren of Knoxville, TN; her sister Marlys Kain (Ken); her brother-in-law Richard Moore of Austin, TX; her stepchildren, Pam Franz of Northfield, MN, Sue Grimm of Bemidji, MN, Annette Iburg of Bemidji, Pat Koch (Kim) of Foley, MN, Jeff Koch (Rachel) of Puposky, MN, Mike Koch (Sherry) of Puposky, MN and Chad Koch of Mounds View, MN; and her stepgrandchildren, Eric Koch, Mary Franz, Brittany Yang, Dexton Koch, Sylvia Grimm, Otto Grimm, Tori Hall, Jake Koch, Amanda Iburg, Anna Iburg and Adam Iburg. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
