She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Johnson and Myrtle Johnson (Earley); her parents-in-law, Melvin and Ella Malingen; her daughter Vicki Ann; her brother Norman Johnson (Beverly); and her siblings-in-law, Berdella Sogn (Kenneth) and Alan Malingen (Ramona).
She is survived by: her husband Marlen; her sons, Mark Malingen (Stephanie) of Alexandria, MN and Terry Malingen (LaShawn) of Rothsay, MN; her grandsons, Carter Malingen, Lane Malingen (Emily), David and Andrew Malingen; her great grandchild Walter Malingen; and her brothers, Norris Johnson (Darlene) and Milton Johnson (Joanne). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (702 W Alcott Ave, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials to Inspiration Point Bible Camp and the Deacon/Deaconess Fund at Bethel Lutheran Church are preferred.
