He is survived by: his sister Arlene McCarthy of Peoria, IL; his children, David Boeckel of Fargo, ND, Darrell Boeckel (Judy) of Andover, MN, Debra Houkom (Brian), Dale Boeckel (Michelle) and Darcy Boeckel of Fergus Falls, MN; his grandchildren, Nancy Petroske (Kevin), Austin Houkom (Sarah), Ashley Cook (Matt), Anthony Houkom (Annie), Brady Houkom (Molly), Stephanie Boeckel, Jeremy Boeckel, Jagger Boeckel, Tyler Murphy and Megan Stanley (Cortez); his daughters, Angie Petree and Chelsea Petree; and his great grandchildren, Vincent, Faith, Jaxon, Ellie, Hadley, Natalie, Gavin, Adison, Ryder, Harper, Beckham, Audrina, Charlee, Boston, Justin, Raelynne, Billy, Mesiyah, Koda, Jayden, Lucy and Joey. He is also survived by extended family, and many friends.
