He was predeceased by : his parents, Everard French and Kathryn French; his wife Myrna Peoples; his sisters, Carolyn Shannon, Dorothea French and Judith Pearson (Bob); his siblings-in-law, Orvis, Wilmer, Vernon Peoples, Verla Jewell (Bob) and Anita Burch (Glenn); and his grandsons, Josiah Donaldson and Darren Dinell.

He is survived by : his brother-in-law David Peoples (Norma); his children, Arthur French, Ellen Donaldson (Frank), Debra Donahue (Daryl), Daniel French and Karen Stanley (Mark); his grandchildren, Raven Dinell, Erik Dinell, Myla Donaldson-Cox (Jeremiah), Jessica Olson (Mat), Kathleen Zeimer (Keith), Andrew Donaldson, Tovah Donahue, Kael French, Jessye Gould, Myrandah French, Kristina Henry (Thomas Jr.), Tiffany Nails (Ray), Alyssa Stanley (David Woodall), Jordan Stanley (Javar Evans) and Kyle Stanley; and his great grandchildren, Cyla, Wyatt, Brayden (Mary), Mersadies, Sofia, Justin, Alexander, Geordyn, Zekkeus, Lucius, Jack, Thomas III, Kaden, Savannah, Coreah, Marley, Adrien, Adeya and Vincent. He is also survived by 5 great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodland Baptist Church (220 Skogmo Blvd, Fergus Falls, MN 56537).
