He was predeceased by: his father Arlo Marcus Hanson; his siblings, Mark Hanson and Susan Olson; his in-laws, Warren and Audrey Bourassa; and his brother-in-law Mike Barker.
He is survived by: his mother LeVonne Elizabeth Hanson (Swenson); his wife Susan Carol Bourassa; his children, Jennifer Martinson (Trent Eineichner), Jamie Adams (Travis Adams) and Kevin Hanson; his grandchildren, Tate Martinson, Kiah Martinson, Rainy Eineichner, Brenden Adams and Alyssa Adams; his great grandchild Everson Anderson; and his sisters, Myrna VanWatermulen (Jim) and Elizabeth Nelson (Chad). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
