She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Funkhouser and Blanche Funkhouser (Erickson); her husbands, Glen Herman and John Kvam; her siblings, Lorraine, Eileen Younger (Burton), Donald Funkhouser (Betty) and Curtis Funkhouser (Gloria); and her great grandchild Emily Lynn Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Burnell (Sonja) of Wendell, MN and Douglas (Dianne) of Fergus Falls, MN.; her grandchildren, Tonya Westrom (Trevor), Lynn Johnson (Travis), Blair Herman (Crystal), Darren Herman (Heather) and Aaron Herman (Maija); and her siblings, Carol Brendefur (Wayne) of Fergus Falls and Neal Funkhouser (Barb) of Fergus Falls.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home (711 Pebble Lake Rd, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A memorial service was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Vukku Lutheran Cemetery Association and Moments Hospice, Alexandria MN.
