Phyllis Morrill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Morrill of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 21, 2025 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Gerald Hauger, Arnold Shirley and Stanley Morrill; her son Dayle Hauger; her children-in-law, Susan Hauger and Tim Rinke; her grandchildren, Heidie Hauger and Logan Rinke; her sister Virginia Herrington; and her brothers-in-law, Wilbur Herrington and Herb Wilkerson.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jeffrey Hauger (Lauren) of Hubbard, Daryl Hauger (Donna) of Minneapolis, MN, Terry Hauger (Connie) of Oro Valley, AZ, Philip Hauger (Cynthia) of Prior Lake and Pauline Rinke of Dilworth; her daughter-in-law Marlyce Hauger of Urbandale, IA; and her stepchildren, Allan Shirley (Sara) of Vergas, Leslie Shirley (Norma) of Fergus Falls, Jeffrey Shirley of Grand Forks, ND, Earl Morrill of Grand Forks, ND, Diane Morrill of Grand Forks, ND and Craig Morrill (Martha) of Bloomington. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren; beloved great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the New Life Lutheran Church (102 Main Ave W, Rothsay, MN 56579). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
