It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Field (Fergus Falls, Minnesota) is shared. Richard, born on April 17, 1934, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mothers, Vivian Field and Fern Field (Lambert); his in-laws, August and Dorothy Boeder; his siblings, David Field and Arlene Ledbetter; his brothers-in-law, Robert Ledbetter and Doug Thompson; his nephew Brian Field; Dean Zent.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Zent (Boeder); his children, Fonda Knudson, Tim Field (Cristi), Randy Field, Lisa Ross (Roger), Brenda Grundy, Bonnie Praska (Keith), Kim Fuhrman (Bruce), Dawn Bratlien (Kevin) and Kelly Zent; his siblings, Gene Field (Linda) and Marlene Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Hovland (Everett) and Harold Boeder. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home (711 Pebble Lake Rd, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
