He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Long and Richard O. Long Sr. (Dick). He is survived by: his wife Dianne Long; his daughter JoElla Klubberud; his son-in-law Michael Klubberud; and his granddaughters, Hannah and Emma (Paige). He is also survived by six siblings many nieces and nephews.
