He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence A. Emery and Tillie M Emery (Stensrud); his wife Elsie Eileen Thom; his parents-in-law, Edwin and Mary Thom; his grandsons, Andrew and Erik Colosky; and his brother Ervin Emery.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Colosky (David) of Pelican Rapids and Arlinda Tollefson (Ted) of Pelican Rapids; his grandchildren, Chelsey Aasness (Austin), Alyssa Price (Masson), Dillon Colosky, Brianna Colosky, Nathan Tollefson (Brittany) and Derek Tollefson (Tess Hubbard); his great grandchildren, Lindy, Maxwell, Bodie Aasness, Everhett, Violette Price and Elsie Tollefson; his siblings, Gary Emery (Nancy) and Sylvia Dutcher; and his sister-in-law Linda Emery. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
