He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Jaeger and Ruby Jaeger (Umlauf); his brother Bill; his sister-in-law Pat; and his daughter-in-law Rachel Jaeger.

He is survived by : his wife Avanelle "Abby" Breckey of Tioga, ND; his sons, Brad Jaeger (Julie) of Fergus Falls, Paul Jaeger (LuAnn) of Fergus Falls and Scott Jaeger of Fergus Falls; his grandchildren, Nate Jaeger (Chelsea), Amanda Duenow, Cody Jaeger, Brandon Jaeger, Nancy Jaeger, Hana Jaeger, Kate Jaeger, Dustin Young, Brady Young, Alec Johnson, Leila Allen and Tucker Ugstad; and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Ella, Chloe Duenow, Easton and Harper Jaeger.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (202 E Summit Ave, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or Knute Nelson Hospice.
