Wallace Mohs Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wallace Mohs in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Mohs and Hazel Mohs (Schulz); his siblings, Kenneth, Jimmy and Betty Tollefson; and his siblings-in-law, Randy Tollefson, Donald Koester, Kenneth Koester, Calvin Hill, Basil Keller, Shirley Koester and Marie Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Koester; his children, Steven Mohs (Marlene) of Savage, MN, Thomas Mohs (Cathy) of Eagan, MN and Kathryn Wahlgren (Clark) of Fergus Falls; his grandchildren, Jessica Wahlgren (Steve Marlow), Lauren Mohs, Courtney Mohs and Allison Wendt (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Arlo and Adler Wendt; and his sisters-in-law, Lorraine Keller and Margaret Koester. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1150 W Cavour Ave, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Lakes Area Shooting Center, Fergus Falls.
