William Messenger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Messenger of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Sr. and Pearl Messenger (Graber); and his siblings, Marcella and Gene. He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his sons, Dave and Steve Messenger; his stepchildren, Joni Schmitt (Ernie), Richard and Robert Wicklund; and his sister Helen Sundeen. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (102 W Junius Ave, Fergus Falls, MN 56537). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
