She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Halonen (Curley) and Margaret Halonen (Marge Bilstein); and her siblings, Cheryl Halonen, Gail Sundberg and Dave Halonen.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Swanson (Bob); her daughter Jennifer Elliott (Wayne); her grandson Curley Elliott; and her siblings, Dale Halonen, Glennis Halonen and Poppy Irwin (Don). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (16875 Farm to Market Rd, Sturgeon Lake, MN 55783).
