We bid farewell to Duane E. Hodel of Foley, Minnesota, born in Albany, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 16, 2025 at the age of 77. Duane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Hodel and Erma Hodel (Kelm); and his siblings, Donald Hodel, Joan Gruenke and Donna Hodel.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Hodel-Hanson (Patrick) of Becker, MN and Jarrett Hodel (Tracy) of St. Cloud, MN.; his grandchildren, Ty, Riley, Jaxon, Laney, Makenna and Reid; his wife Diane Hodel (Johnson); and his sisters, Carrie Heintze (Eddie) and Debbie Carter (Greg).
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 11025 Duelm Rd NE, Foley, MN 56329.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages attendees to bring their favorite story of Duane to share, a fitting tribute to a man who lived each chapter of his life with humor, heart, and humility.
