He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Carlson and Margaret Carlson (Weber); his brother Donald; his in-laws, George Hayden (Dorothy), Dorothy McCarthy (Robert), Joan Lawler (Val) and Patricia Lindkvist (John); and his stepfather Chet Braine.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hayden of Foley; his daughters, Tammy (Vern) and Jill Corrigan (Jeff); his grandchildren, Tanner (Kiara) and Kaitlyn; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Hayden; and his sister Marlys (Jack). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
