It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Frank Janey of Foley, Minnesota, who passed away on October 22, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin and Eleanor; his siblings, Micheal, Daryll, David and Marlene; his stepdaughter Tricia Hansen; and his granddaughter Lauren Trymucha.
He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Greg Janey (Alissa) of Excelsior, Cole Heideman of Elk River, Jason Lemke of Big Lake, Barbara Jenisio (Brian) of Ava, FL, Sheila Trymucha (Mike) of Andover and Kendra Dierkes (Dana) of Rice; his sister-in-law Martha Janey of Spooner, WI; and his niece Tammie Leibold (Jason). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emblom Brenny Funeral Service (900 1st St SE, Little Falls, MN 56345). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. John's Cemetery.
