She was predeceased by: her parents, Werner Amerongen and Bernadette Amerongen (Berreau); her brother Paul Amerongen; and her niece Kelly Amerongen. She is survived by: her husband Doug Mitsch; her children, Brian Mitsch, Joe Mitsch (Michael Hyke), Michele Harmening (Tony), Monica Hodges (Brian), Kathy Mitsch and Teresa Dawley (Kyle); her grandchildren, Reinee, Reegan, Allie, Jake, Kaitlyn, Logan, Emma, Audrey, Marlowe, Porter, Lettie and Conrad; her siblings, Jane Deming (Scott), Mary Boston, Rita Corrigan (Dennis), Cathy (John Ries), Joanie Vetick (Russ) and John Amerongen (Lisa); and her sister-in-law Kathy Amerongen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of Saint Peter or Sharing and Caring Hands.
