She was predeceased by: her husband James Banta; her parents, Cedric Erickson and Christina Marie Stoner; her stepfather George Stoner; her sister Melanie Morris; her siblings-in-law, Niel Banta, Carolyn Quijada and Mary Banta; her sibling's children, Bruce Banta, Mark Sangree and Lynda Banta; and her great-nephew Garth Sangree.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy Carlson (Bruce); her grandchildren, Seth Carlson (Marla), Ethan Carlson (Natasha), Paul Flowers and Hannah Flowers; her great grandchildren, Soren, Briar, Silas, Cliff and Gardner Carlson; her sisters, Elizabeth Schwerm (Terry) and Trudi Martinco (Jeff); and her sister-in-law Barb Banta. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
