He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sr. and Dolores; his sister Margaret Penzenstadler (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Ron Rybicka, David Seymour (Dorothy) and Donna Groenewald (Lee).

He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, John, Bridget (Brian) and David (Kelly); his grandchildren, Gavin, Carson, Jameson and Avery; and his siblings, Cecilia Rybicka, Nick (Deb) and James Jr. (Diane). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
