With sadness, we share the passing of John William Peterson (Forest Lake, Minnesota). John William, born on June 14, 1941, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, North Peterson and Bernadette Peterson; and his brothers, Menfred and Joe. He is survived by: his wife Darla Sater; his children, Doug Peterson (Barb), Linda Lemaniak (Gene) and Todd Peterson; his grandchildren, Jayme, Joshua, Nicholas, Kayla, Travis and Shane; and his great grandchildren, John Douglas, Frieya, Lawson and Laken.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (5879 Wyoming Trail, Wyoming, MN 55092).
