She was predeceased by: her parents, William Merrick and Margaret Merrick; her husband John; her children, John Hugo Jr. and Mary Elizabeth; and her brother-in-law Ken Jansen.
She is survived by: her children, Meg Jensen (Jim), Ann Leverington (Scott) and Amy Schumacher; her daughter-in-law Bernie Schumacher; her grandchildren, Mary (Eric), Sarah, Tavia (Andrew), Nikki (Kiel), Tyler (Dani), Ryan (Tracy), Jake (Kelsey), Erin, Joe and Jon (Noel); her great grandchildren, Sloan, Blakelyn, Noah, Ashton, Jayden, Avery, Ellie, Jordyn, Addison, Emerson, Brooks and Carson; and her siblings, Kathryn "Kit" Jansen and William "Bill" Merrick (Diane). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
