He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Vivian; and his brother-in-law Dick Robinson. He is survived by: his wife Judy (Forster); his children, Jill Fite (Sonny), Jodie van der Sman (Dave) and John (Jeni); his grandchildren, Max Fite (Kelley), Jack Fite (Anna), Nic Fite (Irma), Ben van der Sman (Lisa), Eli van der Sman (Jenny), Lily van der Sman, Sam and Andrew; his great grandchild Margot Fite; and his siblings, Cheryl Robinson, Mark (Kathy), Steve (Carol), Connie Grady (Jeff), Chris Haskins (Rob) and Lyn Barrette. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, dear friends.
