He was predeceased by : his parents, William Meihak and Clara Meihak; his sisters, Evelyn Buchsteiner, Margaret Rockwood and Lorraine Storm; and his nephews, Gary Buchsteiner and Denny Buchsteiner.

He is survived by : his wife Lois Barton; his sister-in-law Connie Effinger (Kent); and his nieces and nephews, Carol Chamberlin (Wendell), Jeanene Zimdars (Denny), Kathy Kohner (Ron), Kelly Rogers (Luke), Rick Buchsteiner, Brian Storm (Chris) and Kyle Effinger (Tina).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a favorite charity of your choice, Folds of Honor, or Union Gospel Mission.
