He was predeceased by: his parents, Almer Anderson and Nellie Anderson (Engeland); his stepchildren, Carolyn Knutson, Cheryl Nelson and Craig Fjerstad; his stepsons-in-law, David Salvhus, Alfred Knutson and Jack Nelson; his stepgrandsons, Jason Nelson, Corey Myhre and Brandon Fjerstad; and his sisters, Selma Ellingson, Pearl Werner, Lillian Aaker, Florence Johnson and Norma Hanson.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Sue Sherette (Ron), Sandy Salvhus, Terry Myhre, Debbie Olson (Marlin) and Kristine Olson (Marvin); and his stepdaughter-in-law Gretchen Fjerstad. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and step grandchildren.
