She was predeceased by: her father Thomas; her spouse Ordell Frigstad; her daughter Gay Otness; her grandson Garret Halland; and her brothers, Jack, Roy and James Welter.
She is survived by: her stepmother Marge; her children, Tom Halland, Mark Halland (LeAnn) of Crookston, MN and Debi Halland of Fosston, MN; her grandchildren, Tania Grove (Shane), Brianna Kaupang, Jeff Halland (Angie), Jeremy Halland, Robert Halland (Julie), Nichole Halland, Jason Halland, Trista Halland, Robin Anderson, Whitney Halland and Paige Prazak (Jordan); her siblings, Jay Welter of Plentywood, MT and Joyce Degasis of Phoenix, AZ; her sister-in-law Delores Welter of Havre, MT; and her nephew Jim Nelson (Cindy). She is also survived by 35 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Free Lutheran Church (910 6th St NE, Fosston, MN 56542). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
