With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irvin Christianson of Fosston, Minnesota, who passed away on September 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. Christianson and Alma Christianson (Grover); his son Scotty; and his siblings, Carol Beaudoin, Alvina Johnson, Duane and Wallace Christianson.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Grimm of Brooks, MN.; his children, Sue Sorvig (Dave) of Williams, MN, Wanda Manecke (Joe) of Fosston and Travis of Fosston; his sister-in-law Pearl Johnson (Delores Grimm); his grandchildren, Amanda Kvien (Matt), Shena Brandt (Devyn), Levi Nelson (Julia), Ciscely Harrison (Matt), Dustin Manecke (Sara), Tyler Manecke (Nicole), Briana Olson (Cody), Alyssa Damm and Isaac Christianson; Edward, Judy, Scott and Jodi.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sand Valley Lutheran Church. A memorial service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
