She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Hilliard and Beatrice Hilliard (Rime); and her brother-in-law Don Smith. She is survived by: her siblings, Marilyn Smith of Lengby and Larry Hilliard (Sue) of Stacy, MN; and her siblings' children, Jodi Hanson, Rhonda Nelson (Terry), Lana Huemann (Travis) and Darin Miller.
