He was predeceased by : his parents, Art Underdahl and Alvina Olson Underdahl. He is survived by : his wife Bonnie Underdahl; his daughter Sarah Steinbrenner (Tom); his grandchildren, Ben and Heidi; and his stepchildren, Kris Culton (Ana), Rob Mahto (Jessica), Kristin Willberg (Kirk), Scott Cudmore and Michelle Cudmore. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; and a few dear cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hope Lutheran Church (508 N Foss Ave, Fosston, MN 56542). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
