He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Matson and Alvina Matson (Evans); and his sister-in-law Helen Matson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Overmoe; his children, Barbara Johnson (Ryan) and Brenton Matson (Emily); his siblings, Gerald Matson and Bonnie Beery (Stephen); and his aunt Ila Johnson (Evans).
