It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John E Lothert of Franklin, Minnesota, who passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Lothert and Elgar Lothert; his brother William; and his sister-in-law Imogene. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Jean Herdina; his sister Jan Laurel (Jeff); his children, Teresa Gess (Kit), Jeffrey Lothert (Becky), Lynette Motzko (Gary), Lance Lothert (Heather) and Craig Lothert; his grandchildren, Jade, Paige (Andrew), John (Hannah), Shylyn (Joshua), Brooke (AJ), Mackenzie (Devon), Casey, Nicholas, Isaak (Lexie) and Craig Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Atlas, Elowyn and Hattie Jo. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, plus many, many Herdina in-laws.
