He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gibbon and Frances Gibbon (Boiteau); his wife Myrna Odegard of Arnold's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Jean Hammer (George), Alyce Trunck, Helen Gibbon, Lloyd Gibbon (Darlene), Marjorie Christensen (Hall), Marlin Gibbon (Zella), Leonard Gibbon, Kenneth Gibbon (LaJune), Mary Johnson (Milo) and Richard Gibbon.

He is survived by: his brother-in-law Tom Trunck (Alyce). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
