With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorie Totland-Kern of Frazee, Minnesota, born in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Totland and Judy Totland (Blauert); and her grandson Lance Totland. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Kern; her children, Brian Totland (Kari Pederson) of Frazee, MN and Bridget Schussman (Steven) of Bemidji, MN; her close friend Lori Bengtson; her grandchildren, Jerica, Lane (Kaylie), Taylor, Kylie, MaKenna, Levi, Owen, Leighton, Audrey, Weston and Braxton; her great grandchildren, Addie and Bryson; and her siblings, Linda Stach, Dennis Totland (Mary), Lois Ditterich (Jerre Sperling), Carol King (Wayne), Janet Bruemmer (Joey), Duane Totland, Vickie Nettum (David) and Julie Roberts (Lee). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
