He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Garding and Magdalene Garding (Bueckers); his son Craig Garding; and his sisters, Doreen Ebensteiner and Adeline Boecker.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Garding of Freeport; his daughter Robin Garding of Freeport; his grandchildren, Cheyanne Lineburg (Cody), Elisha Duckson, Jocelyn Garding and Avery Garding; and his siblings, Tillie Gilk of Albany, Marie Garding of St. Cloud, Joe Garding (Janice) of Albany and Helen Van Drehle (Donnie) of Melrose.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to CentraCare Hospice.
